Learn the art of Floriography and make your own bouquet with a message in this flower workshop in the Adelaide Hills.
Floriography, or the Language of Flowers, became popular in Victorian England when the gift of flowers, plants and specific arrangements was used to send a coded, often romantic, message at a time when such feelings could not be openly expressed in polite society. In this class, you will learn the meaning of different flowers and put this knowledge to use in creating your own ‘bouquet with a message’.
This wonderful half day workshop at The Oaks in the Adelaide Hills includes all presentations and tuition, a tour of the garden, flowers and materials, and a vintage tea with homemade cakes. This is a small group workshop to allow for individual attention. A large range of flowers will be brought from our Flower Farm near Robe. It promises to be a magical day.
Joining instructions with directions will be emailed directly to participants.
