Play the Dahlia Lottery!!! Try growing your own dahlias from seed. You might just breed the next unicorn and be the envy of gardeners everywhere. Or you might have a range of open centered beauties, much loved by the bees.

We indicate the 'parent' variety from which the seed was collected however be aware that this doesn't mean your dahlias grown will look like the parent. There may be some characteristics that are similar (this is why I love growing cafe au lait seeds). But equally they might differ. Regardless it's great fun and a lovely surprise to see what pops up.

We are able to share a small quantity of dahlia seed from our breeding programme. We have indicated the parent plant that the seed was collected from. 

Dahlias are open pollinated and do not come 'true to type' from. If you want to grow a plant like the named parent, go to our dahlia tuber sale.
