Billy buttons are a much loved happy native plant and make a great cut flower. Great fresh or dried they have a very long vase life. From the mound of soft silvery leaves, the plant sends out perfectly spherical yellow balls on tall stalks.
These are perennials so will return to your garden for a number of years. We typically replace ours every 4 years. Billy buttons need well drained soil and, once established, limited additional water in hot, dry periods.
If you want to grow flowers in your cutting garden but haven't got the time/energy/facilities to grow from seed, bulbs or cuttings, our ready-to-go young plant collection is perfect for you.
Once the plants are big enough to be planted outside, they will be carefully packaged, and shipped by express post to you. There may be a delay between the date of your order and the shipment of the plants if we need to wait for them to get large enough to ship.
Once the package arrives, open it immediately. We can not be responsible for the plants after they have arrived with you. Please see you terms and conditions. Due to biosecurity restrictions, none of our plants, seed or bulbs can be shipped to TAS, NT or WA.
