Dahlia - Alf 9

Grow a little bit of dahlia-breeding history in your garden. This is number 9 in the 'Alf' collection. A great bright lemon yellow small decorative.

Our 'Alf' collection was started in 2024 when we received a box of unnamed, second year seedlings from the collection of Alf Hardingham (Glenmarc breeder). Alf had sadly recently passed away, and his friends in the Portland Dahlia Society were sharing tubers from his breeding programme.

The seedlings are not Glenmarc tubers as that was Alf's alone to assign. Who knows which ones might have made the grade; all, some or none - we can guess. We hope you enjoy these 'Alf' seedlings in your dahlia cutting garden.
