Giant Blue Scilla - Scilla Hyacinthoides

Rare. One of the best bulbs for dry gardens - it also makes a great cut flower in Spring. 

Flowers early to mid spring on 30-70cm tall flower spikes adorned with hundreds of tiny blue flowers. Good vase life. Equally happy in sun and shade. Hailing from the Middle East, they are exceptionally drought tolerant.

The bulbs gently multiply so can form drifts of flowers over time. The foliage dies back in summer.
