Part 1 includes:
Planning your garden with the end bouquet in mind
Selecting the best flowers for cutting
Stress-free growing from seed
The benefits of soil blocking
Growing dahlias from tuber, seed and cuttings
Taking heirloom chrysanthemum cuttings
Part 2 includes:
Harvesting for cut flowers - knowing when to pick
Conditioning, hydrating (plus techniques for trickier flowers)
Foam-free arranging techniques to use a varieties of containers
Drying flowers - the drying process, successful storage and best varieties for drying
Gorgeous tea, coffee and homemade cakes will be served. Tours of The Flower Farm (Robe SA) will be possible after the sessions.
