In this class we share all our knowledge. This is the foundation of all we do, enabling us to produce bunches and bunches of flowers every week of the year without greenhouses or fancy equipment on our flower farm.
Day 1 starts in the flower studio and greenhouse and covers all you need to know to grow and arrange buckets of flowers every season.Learn about:

Colour theory and flower fashion are some of our favourite topics - we'll share our thoughts on what colours are on trend and what you’re likely to want in your vases next season.
Day 2 is on the flower farm. Learn how to:
dig, divide and store dahlia tubers
make your own chrysanthemum cuttings
propagate perennials using a variety of techniques.
schedule and prioritise garden tasks
winter prune roses
plan your cutting garden for 12 months of flowers
dry your own cut flowers
We will make a dried flower wreath on a natural base (yours to take home).
This is a small group workshop on our flower farm between Robe and Kingston SE. There will be lots of opportunity to tailor the content to your interests - just let us know.
Each day runs from 10:30-3.30. Please bring your own lunch. We will provide tea, coffee and water.
Leave with a box of dahlia tubers, chrysanthemum cuttings, seeds, planning lists and all the material you need to grow your own cut flowers.4 person minimum to run the class.
